Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Oversee detention processes and ensure maximization of cash flow through accurate and timely processing of order invoices within customer requirements. Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to team members and business partners regarding detention policies, processes, customer requirements, and system functionality.

  • Oversee detention billing processes to maximize cash flow through accurate and timely invoicing in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to facilitate timely invoicing, resolve complex billing issues, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Identify and address missed revenue opportunities while recommending strategies to improve detention revenue recovery and operational performance.
  • Design, develop, and continuously improve detention processes, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze current workflows and implement process and system enhancements that increase automation and improve billing accuracy.
  • Drive adoption of automated rating, electronic invoicing (EDI/email), template processing, and other initiatives that accelerate invoice generation and collection.
  • Evaluate new and existing customer requirements and recommend system enhancements to support billing efficiency and compliance.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate key performance metrics related to detention operations, revenue recovery, invoicing timeliness, and process effectiveness.
  • Manage detention portfolios and workload distribution to ensure appropriate coverage and timely processing of events.
  • Monitor detention and billing metrics to ensure customer requirements, service levels, and financial objectives are achieved.
  • Identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities related to detention processes, systems, and revenue recovery performance.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex detention issues, collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and improve payment outcomes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to team members and business partners regarding detention policies, processes, customer requirements, and system functionality.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • 3+ years of related billing and/or revenue experience required.
  • Previous project management experience preferred.
  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Bachelor's preferred.
  • Must possess exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Must possess strong analytical and business decision-making skills.
  • Must be able to interpret performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Must have exceptional customer relationship and negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to balance customer, operational and business needs.


Pay Range: $53,325.00 - $76,975.00 Annual
